With a strong background in both counseling and social work, Alyssa has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and families to achieve greater independence and stability.
Alyssa’s commitment to building strong teams and fostering innovative approaches allows her to guide the organization with vision and purpose.
As a leader, Alyssa is known for her ability to provide consistent support to both staff and participants while developing effective systems that strengthen the organization as a whole. Her caring nature and genuine love for her team create a positive, collaborative environment where staff feel valued and supported.
Her focus on structure and teamwork allows her to guide the agency with vision, compassion, and efficiency, ensuring that Empire Community Services continues to grow and deliver the highest quality care to the communities we serve.

Megan Yamin,
Supervisor of Service Coordination
Megan Yamin brings over a decade of dedicated experience as a Service Coordinator within the NHTD/TBI Waiver programs. With a strong background in Human Services, she has also worked extensively with individuals with developmental disabilities, giving her a deep understanding of the diverse needs of the people she supports.
As Service Coordination Supervisor, Megan oversees her team with care and dedication, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure participants receive compassionate, person-centered care. She is highly regarded for her knowledge of waiver services, her ability to navigate complex systems, and her unwavering commitment to advocacy. Megan’s enjoyable personality and genuine caring make her a pleasure to work with and for, and her devotion to her family inspires the compassion she brings to her role every day.

Service Coord/HR Admin

Service Coordinator
Michelle Rogers brings nearly 20 years of experience as a Service Coordinator, dedicating her career to supporting clients with compassion and integrity. Known for treating her clients like family, Michelle is deeply committed to their well-being and ensures they receive the personalized care they deserve.
A true social worker at heart, Michelle is highly present in her work and has a profound understanding of the unique needs of the rural community she serves. Karen Lare, BA, Service Coordinator
Karen Lare brings over a decade of experience in the Human Services field, with many years of hands-on work as a job coach supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Known for her exceptional organization and attention to detail, Karen is a highly valued team member who consistently demonstrates collaboration and a team-player attitude.

Meghann Blain, ILST Supervisor
We are thrilled to welcome Meghann Blain as our ILST Supervisor at Empire Community Services. Meghann brings extensive experience in the Human Services field, providing care and support for diverse populations, including women’s shelters, individuals with developmental disabilities, and home health care clients.
In her role as ILST Supervisor, Meghann provides leadership and guidance to her team of 5 ILST staff, ensuring that participants receive compassionate, person-centered care. Her light-hearted nature and joyful personality bring positivity to her coworkers and clients alike, making her a valued and uplifting presence within the organization. Meghann’s dedication, knowledge, and collaborative approach reflect her passion for making a meaningful impact in the community.
